
BAKPİ CHICKEN VOLOVAN
Materials
8 squares of puff pastry, 1 egg yolk
Mortar ingredients: 250 grams of diced Bakpi chicken meat, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 chopped onion, 1 bowl of chopped mushrooms, 1 packet of cream, enough salt, enough ground black pepper
Serving ingredients: a few sprigs of fresh thyme
Preparation
Saute the Bakpi chicken in olive oil until the water has evaporated. Add the onion and mushrooms, then salt and ground black pepper and continue sautéing until the water has evaporated. Finally, add the cream. Roll out the puff pastry dough with a rolling pin and form round shapes and circle shapes with a hollow center with a water glass or cookie cutter. Brush the egg yolks on your round shaped puff pastry, then place the circle shaped puff pastry on it and brush with the egg whites. Place the puff pastry on a greased tray and place in the preheated 180-degree oven. Divide the mortar you made into the puff pastries you took out of the oven. When serving, garnish with fresh thyme sprigs.
